Qibla Compass fro Android is a useful app for finding direction of the Qibla 
from just about anywhere in the world. It is a small nifty app designed for Android 1.5 and up. Qibla compass is free to download and use, it takes up just 184 kb of space on an Android smartphone. The app uses an Android smartphone’s built in GPS to find own location and then based on that gives the direction of Qibla by pointing the compass needle in that direction. You just have to run the app and place it on a flat surface away from ferrous objects, and with in minutes it gives you the direction of Qibla. Not only that it automatically calculates the prayer times for your location and displays them in a separate tab. It also calculates the distance to Holy City of Mecca and displays it.
