Hello. Just got word about a new kid on the block, Turkish 9 mm pistol A9/C9 by System Defense. It’s finally landed here in Pakistan. Main features are ; Polymer frame, striker fired, 9 mm, ergonomic design, Glockish in shape, picatinny rail, fiber optic front sight, ambidextrous slide stop, serrated slide, 15/18 rounds magazine.
I haven’t been able to lay my hands on one but hopefully soon. This is a new entrant and not very well known pistol. The trend with Turkish pistols is that of striker fired handguns. I’ve been told it’s placed in the Rs 150k range which imho isn’t a great idea at all because the pistol is not very well known. Compare this to the CF98 and you’ll get an idea of what I mean to say.
Anyways a detailed review, some range sessions and some time later things will be clear. Stay tuned. Cheers
