Hi! I came across this beautiful HK 270 rifle chambered in .22 LR. It is a semi-auto rifle with wooden furniture, a 20 round magazine, manual safety near the trigger guard. The rifle has been kept in good condition and I have been told it shoots tight groups. Here’s some information about it…
Specs:
- Caliber: .22 LR
- Length: 38 inches
- Barrel length: 19 inches
- Weight: 2.5 kg
- Action: Recoil blow back operated
- Sights: Front Fixed, Rear Adjustable
It has a signature HK rear rotary diopter sight.
I am not a fan of semi-automatic rifles except perhaps for the AR15 🙂 but .22 LR is a favorite caliber and I have shot loads of .22 LR through bolt action rifles. When it comes to semi-auto in .22 LR I haven’t shot much of it, though I’ve heard some of them are ammo sensitive. In any case this looks like a fine rifle and it would be fun to do some plinking or maybe perhaps dove hunting. Light weight, well built and balanced, it is an HK weapon known for its quality and reliability. Not sure about its price because this is like two decades old rifle. But still had to share with you all. Cheers
Great rifle…!!! How would you compare with CZ .22 LR rifle? And, pls confirm the price of this beauty….!!! Thanks.
