Happy 68th Independence Day

Hello everyone. I have been snapping pics of the  National Standard on my way to the office, on my way back, while going to the market, to dine someplace, for the Independence Day. This is my way of saying Happy 68th Independence Day to all of you. You will realize it takes a certain amount of skill to drive your car with one hand and snap a pic of the intended object with the other. It’s not that easy, but really it’s a lot of fun.

My prayer for this auspicious day is, “may Green be more greener and ever pleasing to the eyes, may the White be more brighter and placid, may the men prosper in their fields and may the women flourish in their arenas, may the children grow up healthy and sound, may the young men and women find love, may the soldier find solace and be never in despair, may the fields grow green and golden, may the waters run favoring the people, may the winds bring good news, may the rains wreak no havoc and in fact bring respite, may the sun always shine on this land, may the afflictions leave this land forever, may the enemies find themselves alone and beaten, may your hopes and dreams come true, may your fears never overcome you, may you prosper forever and ever, may the land be called as the “Land of Love”, may the flag rise high till the end of times. Ameen”
