What does this picture tell you? Does it convey a contorted message? Is it a joke? A mockery of the non-existent respect for laws in our decrepit society? A bold show-off message to all, that I have been to the US? A message to the indifferent Police in our country? A blatant display of machismo? If at all to me this is reminiscent of a sick mind suffering in severity from inferiority complex.
I saw this car on the streets of Peshawar and since we were following the same route I photographed it. Surprisingly he even stopped at a Police check post but because of a speed breaker. Nevertheless he was highly ignored by the Police personnel in good faith and begorra they lived up to their reputation, as always. Not caring a zilch if he a number plate on his car or an NYPD plate. I can wager my three days salary that the poor fellow would be at loss to even read what was inscribed on that Holy Sheet. But then who cares? If at all someone has the sense or gumption to stop and ask him he would be in all fairness rewarded amply, as is the culture of the land. A man who can do such a thing in clamant way is either too powerful or too dangerous if not sick!
