Sandwiched in between Warda Lawn and a vacant floor Espresso Lounge has opened an outlet in the restive city of Peshawar. The place is ideal for shoppers, those looking for a quick cappuccino or loners like me who love to think in isolation 🙂 It is on the main University Road, near Arbab Road in one of the new (still empty) Plazas.
You go there and you are sure to be welcomed by a platoon of attendants and waiters, dressed impeccably in black trousers and shirts, white mittens too. The ambience is very good. Nice layout, good furniture, a small balcony should you want to enjoy in the open air a pizza or two. Wooden floors, impressive decorations, paintings, free WiFi (password protected), good music and excellent food. The list is rather long, you can have sea food, soups, pasta, pizzas, panini, sandwiches, salads and what not. Not just a cafe I say, it is a restaurant too, as the name says it. The drinks has an impressive line up too, everything from margaritas, coffee, plain tea,(mixed or separate), smoothies, shakes, ice creams and plain old water. Cleanliness gets full marks as does service. They have a team here in town specially driven all the way from Islamabad.
A word about the size of servings; well haven’t seen such good size anywhere. I hope they keep it this way! The staff is cooperative and just as much concerned about the guests as should be. Man, I came back impressed, this has to be one of the best places in town. Just one thing missing, they don’t accept Credit/Debit cards. My advice, please do that. Other than this, you get full marks. Well done and keep it up.
Enjoy the eye candy!
